|
|
Hi,
Are there any other free to air channels available to us in South Africa other than Botswana TV and the Christian channels on DStv decoder Public/Pas7/10 setup? If so, where can I find details of them?
Also, can one pick-up other satellites with the DStv decoder?
Thx

I have deleted your postings because the postings you make contains links to websites showing you for instance how to make copies of your satellite decoder's card etc. I have allready warned you in a PM not to do that. Did you get my PM?
Here at techies we don't condone illegal activities. You also don't seem to have gone through the rules of this forum for in the second bullet point it states that we don't allow any material that violates any applicable laws.
I do check each and every post made and I do check each and every link being put here. Now, if you would please refrain from posting any more info that violates a law I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.

Some of the information contained on the links were OK, but there were also links directing one on how to do the above mentioned illegal activities. What you could do is post just the links to the different sattellites you had up. The two URL's with the tables containing all the sattellites bearings and stuff.
As for the PM, I sent it on Thu 10 Feb 2005 at 19h27. Strange that you didn't get it.

| Illegal links? Jeez, that’s a bit harsh. Why don't you just scrap the whole topic of satellite TV then, seeing as you always have some dispute about illegal activity? That’s like saying you cannot post a link to an assembly tutorial, because that "could" teach somebody to crack copy protection. Not everyone is a criminal in training; some of us are just curious to how stuff works.

Just go up to the dish and turn the LNB to point to 16:23, half way between 20past and 25past(135% from north). This should fix the problem with the signal...

| Just ask in the forum. Other people may want to know the same thing, or may be able to answer your query. If it is a private question, send him a PM.
