Need vodacom internet and gprs settings for my Mobitel E71 Pro.
Contacted vodacom and they said they dont have settings for that type of phone.

I want my dstv channels to be as separate channels in my media center live tv environment so that I only have to use the mce remote to change the channels of the dstv so that I dont have to use the dstv remote. I tried using all the different codes under the lists of UEC, Multichoice and DSTV but none of them worked.

Oh wait - you want to use the actual remote to point at the decoder and change channels?

Or are you using one of those IR eyes that sticks onto the decoder?

So I take it you can cortrol your decoder with your mce remote.
I'll give all the options a try and see.

Keep trying various ones - you'll find one that works

Try under multichoice and UEC.

I had the same problem with my Dual View - eventually got it working using the above method - not ideal - but gets the job done.

I have set up my dsd1131 decoder through my hauppauge tvtuner in windows 7 media center. I am struggling with the set top box part of the set up though. I want to use my mce remote to control my dsd1131 decoder as well but I cant find the dsd1131 in the lists. Need help please!!!

The alignment parameters for receiving our signal from Sirius 4:

Address: durban, south africa
Latitude: -29.8570�

Satellite: 4.8E Sirius 3, 4
Elevation: 44.9�
Azimuth (true): 315.3�
Azimuth (magn.): 340.1�

Our decoder should tune automatically to the �home� signal after power-on or a reset, but if required here are the tuning parameters:

Satellite frequency: 12 525 MHz, vertical

Modulation: 8PSK, DVB-S2 (just about all standard DSTV decoders will no be compatible) with 0.2 roll-off factor

Symbol rate: 30 MSps

FEC: 2/3

Please remember to check your LNB setting, using the remote press Menu, select Settings, select System seup, enter the PIN (�0000�) press Enter, select Installation setup, select Satellite setup, scroll down to the LNB High LO and change 10 600 to your 10 700, if necessary

I was so pleased to find this forum! We work with customers who are involved in Product Development and by implication create technical documentation.

I have heard quite a few comments lately that technical writers are scarce and and is considered a dying breed in SA. Thank goodness for this forum and community.

Our software solutions are pretty useless without someone to drive them, so this is quite a relief.

I agree... DITA is very flexible and can be used where any topic based information is more suitable.

I have however found that most people feel that it requires a mind shift which can sometimes be a bit of a challenge if you are trying to convince a team of writers to convert from what they know to DITA.

One of the most compelling reasons to go to DITA is content re-use. Therefore I would also consider implementing a suitable CMS that is capable of managing DITA information.

Moreover utility helped my friends absolutely free and it showed me how convert from ost to pst software will convert *.ost to *.pst extension, that can be easily opened by any email client.
